Understanding Product Condition

Ruby Luxury sells designer handbags and accessories in several inventory conditions. The condition stated on each product page applies to that exact item. Please review the listing photos and description before purchasing.

New With Tags

The item is unused and includes its original retail tags when stated. Because some pieces are older or have been stored as shelf inventory, any noticeable storage wear, handling marks, or packaging condition should be disclosed in the individual listing.

New Without Tags

The item is represented as unused but does not include original retail tags. It may be from an older season or may have been stored in inventory before being listed.

Pre-Owned

The item was previously owned or used. The listing should describe its overall condition and any visible signs of wear that are important to the purchase decision. Normal wear may vary from one item to another.

Shelf or Warehouse Inventory

This means the item has been physically held in Ruby Luxury’s New York inventory. Shelf inventory may be unused, new with tags, new without tags, or pre-owned. Older inventory can show minor storage or handling signs even when it has never been used, and those details should be described when noticeable.

Discontinued, Retired, or Previous-Season Items

These terms describe a product’s availability or age, not its condition. A discontinued or previous-season item may still be new, or it may be pre-owned. The condition stated on the specific product page controls.

Previously Purchased or Sold Items

Items shown in a previously purchased or sold archive are no longer available for checkout. These listings may remain visible to show examples of products Ruby Luxury has carried.

Photos, Color, and Product Details

We make reasonable efforts to show and describe each item accurately. Lighting, photography, and screen settings can affect how colors appear. Included accessories, measurements, materials, and condition details vary by item and are stated when available.
